Heritage Recipes to share? These could be some thing that have been handed down in your family, or might feature a Gilroy product such as prunes, walnuts, apricots, or garlic. Do you have a story to tell about the particular recipe? Write them up, being sure to include details like the baking time and temperature, pan size, number of servings, etc. Elizabeth Barratt has accepted the challenge of this project, and is awaiting your contributions! Email her directly, or mail it to the Society at P.O. Box 1621, Gilroy, Ca 95021. |

We Need More Recipes!
Dear Members, thanks to those of you who have been so kind as to send in your favorite recipes! At present we have about 20 and will need many more in order to fill up a great cookbook on Gilroy's Heritage Recipes! Please take time to go through your family's favorites, whether for a church supper casserole or a Thanksgiving specialty you've always enjoyed at home. Main meal recipes are especially needed right now, so please write them out and send them in so we'll have a cookbook we can be proud of and one that future generations will love to read.
Please either mail them to the Society at P.O. Box 1621, Gilroy 95021-1621, or Elizabeth Barratt at 7541 Church St., Gilroy, 95020. If you prefer, you can email them to Elizabeth at info@chesbrohouse.com. A big thanks for your participation!
