Volunteer

We welcome volunteers of all ages and abilities, and have plenty of interesting projects that need your time and effort.  Let us know what interests you, what your skills are, or what specific project you'd like to help with!  Below is a link to the City of Gilroy volunteer application.  You can submit it by email, fax, or snail-mail, carrier pigeon (we are history buffs, after all), or in person:

The success of the Gilroy Historical Society is supported by you, our benefactors, and your gifts allow our services and programs to continue.  We appreciate donations of any size, and will provide you with a receipt for your gift.  We are able to receive donations by credit card, PayPal, or by check.

Add to the Museum's Historic Collections

We are interested in items related to the history of Gilroy, its residents and culture, and its relationship to the larger region.  If you have items you would like to donate, please contact the Gilroy Historical Museum at (408) 846-0446.  

The California Pioneers are assembling a film archive of the history of the Santa Clara Valley -- with your films as its backbone.  If you would like to donate films to the California Pioneers and their project for posterity, contact Bill Foley, iamspartacus@gmail.com, or (408) 317-8249.  In return, they will give you a DVD copy!
